Veer Singh is an ex Member of Legislative Assembly from Chitrakoot constituency in Uttar Pradesh who was elected in 2012. However, he lost in the 2017 elections.[1] He is the son of Ex MLA and dacoit Dadua Singh. Veer Singh got active in politics after his father died in a conflict.[2] He is from the Samajwadi Party. In 2016, he got in controversy for beating up an officer from the electricity department because the officer didn't agree to forgive or reduce the bills of his supporters.[3]
