In October 2020, he was named in India's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Australia.[13] However, on 9 November 2020, Chakravarthy was ruled out of the squad after suffering an injury.[14] In February 2021, he was named in India's T20I squad for their series against England.[15]
