Ravi Prakash is an Indian newspaper and television news promoter.

Prakash is the founder-Chairman and CEO of ABCL which runs nine TV stations with the brand name TV9[disambiguation needed]. He is also the Founder of Simba TV in Africa and Europe. He is the former chief executive officer and senior journalist of TV9.[1][2][3][4]

He has contributed four crores to build a 200 bed multispeciality hospital near Kuchipudi village.[5]

Controversy[edit]

The Telangana police had charged Prakash in connection with an alleged forgery case. The issue was related to an alleged takeover of Alanda Media by TV9. Prakash was recently granted anticipatory bail in the case filed by TV9 new management.[6]
