Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer is a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Barnala constituency. He won the 2017 legislative election on Aam Aadmi Party by defeating Congress candidate Kewal Singh Dhillon.[1] He did schooling from BGS public school Barnala and is an mechanical engineer. He is currently serving as youth wing incharge of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab.
